Need I say more?

Jason and I are sure finding it difficult to remember to take and post one picture every day.
That’s not to say I haven’t been taking pictures (I won’t speak for him) I just haven’t sat down to post them (I do upload them to Flickr if I take it with my iPhone).
How in the world is it already February. It feels like January just flew by! It also feels like a million years ago we were in Mexico – not one month. Wow.
So far 2011 is shaping up to be quite a year for us. We have many exciting plans in the works that one of us will share with the interwebs when they’re more formalized.
This past week I spent hours updating the photog website and we’re booking up quickly for Spring and Summer 2011. If you’re interested in a family shoot be sure to contact us soon!
Okay, enough of the chatting. This is supposed to be a picture blog, not a chatty blog.
Here are some of my iPhone photos for the past week. Enjoy!
(And don’t forget, you can leave us comments here too!)
This lotion is from Bath & Body Works. It’s anti-stress lotion and it saved our lives during the crazy busy season of 2010. I saw it and thought of my wonderful friends Angel & Kathleen. Girlies, this one’s for you!
When Jason saw this photo in my Flickr stream he laughed his butt off. It’s such a silly thing to take a picture of, a tap, but it turned out so cool. I think we’re adding this onto our list of iPhone photos to print and frame.
This was taken the same time I was hanging out in the bathroom. (What? It takes forever for the shower water to get hot – so I was playing on Facebook and taking pictures. I’m sure you take your phone to the bathroom as well)
A few months ago Jason saw in Men’s Health that companies had started to come out with glass water bottles with a silicone covering. Well, we found two. Now I can leave my water bottle at work (no more endless supply of client water for me!) and stay hydrated while taking part in 28-days of yoga at The Hot Yoga Lounge.
This isn’t really special. It’s just my wallet. BUT – by taking the elevator back up 32 stories to grab it out of my yoga back I saved myself a $140 fine from Calgary transit. Yay!
Hope every takes some time to enjoy the sun today :)

Both Jason and I have been quite remiss in our daily picture posting.
I was sick last week, so being stuck inside doesn’t do much for inspiration or motivation, and neither does -25 weather.
Last night I was feeling better and finally pulled out my trusty iPhone camera to take some shots.
So, as an apology, here are some pictures of things that made my Sunday evening a little bit better.
A delicious vanilla sugar cookie scented candle.
My water bottle reminding me to do one thing a day that scares me. After taking this picture I signed up for the 28-day yoga challenge at the Hot Yoga Lounge. February will be the month of yoga (and sweat).
Some amazing homemade chai concentrate. It’s totally worth it to follow this recipe and make your own. Yum!
We may have fallen off a bit on pictures and posting in the later half of January, but I think both Jason and I are rested and revived and ready to start taking pictures again.
Again, the cold and the snow is messing with my desire and ability to take some stellar photos for y’all.
Instead, you get a somewhat creepy picture of my finger – and a totally gorgeous ring I found in Mexico.
Thank goodness this cold snap will be over by Monday, I’m getting sick of being cooped up indoors and being forced to run on the treadmill.
I was feeling a bit stuck last night. I really wasn’t sure what to take a picture of. No daylight and I ran inside, so I wasn’t even able to pull out the iPhone if I had a neat picture while walking home from my run. (Walking home in -20 from runs is no fun, hence why I ran indoors).
As we were sitting on the couch watching the Biggest Loser (okay, I was watching, Jason was napping) I thought I’d see how a picture of Jason’s sweater turned out. Personally, I think it’s really neat.
I’m quite impressed by the different filters the iPhone has for photos. We’ve even talked about printed a bunch of my iPhone photos to put up on the wall in a funky photo collage. Now we just need to find the time to do it :)
Both Jason and I are finding it somewhat difficult to find something to take a picture of everyday. If the weather would cooperate, I’m sure we’d be out walking, taking pictures of tree, flowers, birds, the sky, etc.
Calgary in the winter is not very conducive to taking interesting photos. How many pictures of snow can one person take?
Note: I’ve taken zero pictures of snow to date. I just can’t bring myself to do it. I hate snow.
Please, stick with us for a bit. We’re both coming off a really long and busy fall and are looking for inspiration daily. Until then, enjoy the picture of the bottle of wine we enjoyed on Monday :)
Marking exams for 12 hours on Saturday got in the way of any picture taking. All I wanted to do was crawl into bed, but I did force myself to go for a quick 5km run after getting home :)
I’ll try and make it up sometime during the week with some awesome pictures (I’m already beating Jason – he has yet to post a picture!).
Again, I was lazy today and used my iPhone to take a picture of some veggies I cut up for our dinner this evening.
BONUS: An iPhone picture Jason took with my phone.
Both pictures taken with the Hipstamatic iPhone app.
I’m a bit behind on posting pictures this weekend. It’s been crazy, I spent all day Saturday and Sunday marking exams.
This is a picture of the sequins on my sparkley shirt I wore to work on Friday. My boss even commented on how “bright” it was. I think it was the prefect thing to wear on a Friday!
Taken with the Hipstamatic iPhone app.
This whisk is used to make matcha tea and I love it (the tea, not the whisk).
With the weight gain associated with The Holidays and our trip to Mexico, I think it’s time to say good-bye to nightly dessert and hello to nightly matcha tea.
Confession: I ate a Nanaimo bar before making matcha last night, so I really wasn’t that healthy.
Photo taken with the Hipstamatic iPhone App (I was feeling lazy last night)
All photos are taken with the Hipstamatic iPhone app. Who says you need a DSLR to take awesome pictures?! :)
